Heatwave to continue despite Duststorms and Rains in India
Anti-Cyclonic circulation which dominated central and northern India has finally weakened and faded away making a way for WDs to comeback and affect Indo gangetic plains and adjoining areas.
Last week as forecasted parts of north India including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and parts of western UttarPradesh recorded first spell of Duststorm and rainfall of this summer season but in both spells Delhi somehow managed to get only dust raising winds with light drizzle and escaped the core Duststorm.
Heatwave was abated from many of the above mentioned places as temperature fall due to clouding and patchy rainfall at some places but heatwave prevailed in many parts of central India and Uttarpradesh.
Weather forecast for next 5 days
Weather Synopsis
• 3 westerners disturbances in quick successions are expected to affect parts of Himalayas and plains of North India but their spread will be less as they all are weak ones.
• Flow of Hot and mostly dry westerlies
Effects and sequence of these systems and activities
First WD will impact the hills on 17th April then followed by 2nd WD from 19th April and 3rd WD fron 21st April. They will be not much effective as their intensity and spread is expected to be less also temperatures will rise despite these activities as flow of hot westerlies will continue and is not hindered too much by any of these systems.
