Another Spell of intense heat over parts of India

As we all know this year core summer arrived way early over North India and adjoining regions.

Temperature were high but not over 40°C in Delhi, Haryana, UttarPradesh and in parts of Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

Now because of establishment of another high pressure over western India we expect another spell of dryness and heat. More like heatwave like conditions

High pressure area (Anti-Cyclonic circulation) will push hot and dry westerlies into norther plains. Winds will blow from hot region of Thar desert and Rajasthan which will make them more dry and hot in nature resulting in 'Loo' blowing over parts of Haryana, Delhi, Madhyapradesh, UttarPradesh, Punjab and adj areas.

Above mentioned conditions will raise the temperature over Indo Gangetic plains and adj places atleast for next 5-8 days

Weather conditions

•Warm and pleasant morning
•Wind gusts upto 20-35 km/h
•'Loo' might blow in parts of NW Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, UttarPradesh and adj areas
•Clear and sunny skies
•Sliver hazy skies during afternoon hours in urban cities due to dust and other pollutants

Temperature forecast

•Rajasthan: max temp to slowly rise in next 2-3 days and it will be near 42-45°C by 31st March with 'Loo' blowing in some pockets

•West & Central UttarPradesh: Same rising trend with max temp hovering b/w 38-40°C in open areas and 39-43°C in urbans

•Haryana: 37-39°C in rural areas whereas 39-42°C in urbans

•Delhi: 39-42°C Max with warm mornings and okay'ish type of nights

•Punjab & Chandigarh: 37-40°C Max in rural areas whereas it'll be higher in urban areas. Around 36-40°C

•Mumbai and adjoining areas: 32-35°C Max with slight rising trend. 34-36°C by mid week. Might peak upto 37°C at some places in upcoming 10 to 15 days

•Lower Hills: 27-30°C max in majority but it might peak upto 31-33°C at few places by end of march

Keep in mind this is 'unseasonal'. Normally this high temperature are seen in mid to late April and this time we are seeing this record breaking heat in march. First wave of heat arrived in mid march with another wave arriving at the end of the month.

We expect more All Time Records to be broken this time.

Similar condition are expected for upcoming week. No rainfall in sight for another 8 to 10 days
